Procurement Agent (Commission-Based) — Local Client Acquisition

Role type: Independent contractor (no fixed salary).
Location: Your city/region (field-based).
Reporting to: Abubakar Group Ltd. Procurement Team (Türkiye/Nigeria).

What you’ll do

  • Attract clients locally (manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, project buyers) and forward their inquiries to Abubakar Group.
  • Qualify needs (product specs, quantity/MOQ, target price, delivery timeline, destination).
  • Collect client KYC/basic business info and introduce Abubakar Group for sourcing, pricing, QC, and logistics.
  • Maintain simple lead notes and status updates (we provide a template/CRM).
  • Attend local meetings/fairs when useful and share market feedback.

What counts as a Qualified Inquiry

Provide:

  • Company name + contact (email/phone)
  • Product description/specs (+ photos or reference links if possible)
  • Estimated quantity, budget, and delivery timeline
  • Destination country/port and any special compliance requirements
  • Confirmation the buyer is ready to receive a quote/PI

Commission & Terms (no base salary)

  • Compensation is commission-only, based on the inquiries you bring that convert to paid orders handled by Abubakar Group.
  • Rate, milestones, and payment timing are defined in the Agent Agreement (shared after screening).
  • Attribution window and territory are respected; you keep ownership of your introduced accounts per the agreement.
  • Commissions are paid after customer payment clears (banked and confirmed).
  • You are an independent contractor; no authority to sign on behalf of Abubakar Group.

(We’ll finalize percentages and milestones in your written agreement—kept simple and transparent.)

KPIs (first 60–90 days)

  • 12–20 qualified inquiries submitted
  • ≥60% of inquiries quote-worthy after our validation
  • ≥25% conversion to PI/Order (target; varies by category)

  • Product catalogs, price-request templates, and brand guidelines
  • A shared inbox/alias (optional) and a simple CRM/lead sheet
  • Back-office sourcing, pricing, QC, and logistics support
  • Quick turnaround on quotes and PIs to help you close

What you’ll need

  • Existing local network and strong communication (English required; Turkish/Hausa/Arabic are a plus)
  • Basic B2B sales skills; reliable phone/WhatsApp and email
  • Integrity and “trust, but verify” mindset
